So RTÉ switch back to the hurling with indecent haste and Armagh march on to the next round of the qualifiers - another win and who knows what could follow after that. An excellent, high-energy performance from the Orchard men, hitting 1-16 against the All-Ireland champions and the truth is it could and probably should have been more. Tyrone have not been themselves this year and they're deservedly out. Thanks for following the blog today, over and out.
Most enjoyable, 100 mph performance by Armagh with plenty of rousing moments. Hard to believe Tyrone won the All Ireland 9 months ago. An unrecognisable mess, they will be relieved to get back to their clubs.
Stefan Campbell is named man of the match, scored a couple of lovely points. Good performances across the pitch for Armagh, while the big names didn't really show for Tyrone.

Without doubt the biggest victory of Kieran McGeeney's eight years. Won it well and could have won by far more. Tyrone just never got off the runway this year at all
And that's the final whistle! Armagh hit only their fourth wide with the last kick but it doesn't matter, they've knocked the All-Ireland champions out and it was fairly comfortable in the end. Final score: Armagh 1-16 Tyrone 1-10

Armagh controlled everything about this game. Tyrone in a great position at half time, but Armagh got back on top. Crealey turnover to put them five up (1-15 to 1-10) poured water on Tyrone comeback #GAA
Rian O'Neill hits the post with a free but we're in the final seconds and it's all over for Tyrone. A memorable day for the men in orange.

And another one from Murnin! Great catch and shot from difficult angle. Armagh are six ahead with only three minutes left on the clock. Armagh 1-16 Tyrone 1-10
